In the new edition of the CES that will be kicking off in about a week, again we will see a lot of TVs of all kinds. One of the companies that will be present with their new TVs will obviously be LG . Recently, LG officially announced what will be the models presented at the fair in Las Vegas, which are: UC9, UB9800, UF9500, UF9400, UF8500, UF7700, UF6800, UF6700 . In other words, this giant technology show us at least 8 new TVs at CES 2015.
That’s not all, because the company also will demonstrate its technology Quantum Dots.
Quantum dot technology is based on glass materials that emit different colors depending on particle size. This creates screens that show better colors compared to those based on white light and a color filter. Televisions a ride will be marketed as ColorPrime, a term under which LG refers to a TV with better color quality.
It should also be noted that the new TVs will use a powerful technology to scale Full HD 4K content. Due to the lack of 4K content in some markets, it is possible that the Full HD is escalated to that decision, and various algorithms allow to have a sharper and clearer image. Of course this will not compare with the content that is in native 4K quality.
5 of the 8 models make use besides a surround sound system called ULTRA, which LG has developed with Harman / Kardon. This is a point to note, as many modern TVs do not meet user expectations in terms of quality of audio concerned.
By the way, all this involves only LED TVs, LG surely have a separate OLED TVs for their new space, so at CES 2015 we will have more news on that.
