Did you think the best resolution is 4K? Well actually it is not, and there is at least one that is better, 8K. Of course there is still no screen that is commercially available under this resolution, but maybe one hits the market next year. Recently LG has unveiled a massive 98-inch 8K TV during IFA 2014. A 8K resolution is 4 times higher than the standard Full HD as announced by the company to give you an idea.
There is no doubt that the quality of the images is really incredible, but remember that there is a downside to high-resolution displays, and comes to our eyes. If we look at a 4K and 8K screen will be extremely difficult to appreciate the differences without paying a lot of attention.
LG has not released details regarding price, release or specifications of your new TV, but as we said maybe hit the market next year, obviously at a cost that will be skyrocketing year. The 8K resolution usually involves a resolution of 7680 × 4320 pixels, 4 times Full HD as we said to them, equivalent to more than 33 million pixels. The new OLED TV is not a true curve, but uses a 120Hz LCD panel, but still is a really great television.
LG also took the opportunity to show their TV 5K curve 105 inches which has a resolution of 5120 × 2160 pixels, which was also presented for months in Las Vegas during CES 2014.
It is noteworthy that Samsung is also preparing an 8K TV and measures 98 inches. Obviously by now either a price or release date is known.
